This is going to be a great year for all of us. I am excited to have your students in 8th grade English. I will do my best to keep this site updated so all of you know what assignments are due and what we are doing in class.
This week I have been assessing the students. All students need to turn in their signed disclosure by Friday - Aug. 26th.
Students went to the library on Wed. to check out a book they have already read. They were given book report forms and those are due on or before Sept. 7th. I will remind everyone again before they are due.
Mon - Wed - Aug. 29-31 Students will be taking the DRP in class. We will also be writing the PWA - Provo District's writing assessment. Ask your students about the prompt after we write it.
Wed - Fri I will finish my assessment of the students.
